Facilities

The Belize YWCA is located on the corner of St. Thomas Street and Freetown Road. We are conveniently located in the heart of Belize City, just steps from a variety of restaurants, banks, gas stations and the hospital.

The Hostel
The YWCA Hostel provides a safe and welcoming haven with comfortable rooms with balconies. We have 12 beds available in shared rooms with ceiling fans and 4 beds available in a shared room with air conditioning. All these rooms share a bathroom facility. In addition, we have one private room with an in-suite bathroom that is also available.

Meals
The YWCA boasts a snack shop conveniently located on the campus serving breakfast and lunch Monday to Friday. On the weekend, the Catering Department can provide breakfast both buffet style as well as packed to-go meals at an additional cost.

Rates
Standard Room (shared bath): $20BZ/night
Standard Room with A/C (shared bath): $25BZ/night
Private Room (private bath): $35BZ/night

Hall Rental
The YWCA Hall makes a wonderful event space for weddings, parties, and corporate events.

Catering
The YWCA offers catering services for your event. Prices are dependent on the size of the event and your menu.

Decorating
The YWCA will also decorate the hall for you, making your event effortless and trouble-free. Decorating rates start at $100BZ and depend on the size of the event and the style desired.

Rates
$500 for weddings & parties
$200 for meetings, etc. (negotiable)

Other Amenities
The Belize YWCA compound includes meeting rooms, computer lab, basketball court and an outdoor pool.

Pool
The YWCA boasts the only public pool in Belize City. Pool hours vary seasonally but ask about open swim hours or reserving the pool for your group at the YWCA offices.

Basketball Court
The basketball court can be reserved for fun games or used for an outdoor event. We have a net in case volleyball is more your style.
